EMINEM - RELAPSE: REFILL

SUPERSTAR HIP-HOP ARTIST RELEASES HIS CHART-TOPPING ALBUM RELAPSE WITH FIVE UNRELEASED TRACKS TO TIDE FANS OVER TILL RELAPSE 2

Multi-platinum hip-hop artist Eminem will release Relapse: Refill on December 21ST, 2009, on Aftermath/Interscope Records. This re-release of Eminem's chart-topping fifth studio album includes seven bonus tracks, including the single "Forever", also featuring Drake, Kanye West, and Lil Wayne (previously found on the More Than A Game soundtrack), "Taking My Ball" (also released only with the DJ Hero video game), and five never-before-heard tracks.

"I want to deliver more material for the fans this year like I originally planned" Eminem says. "Hopefully these tracks on The Refill will tide the fans over until we put out Relapse 2 next year". Eminem has been busy in the studio creating even more new material since Relapse was released. "I got back in with Dre and then a few more producers, including Just Blaze, and went in a completely different direction which made me start from scratch. The new tracks started to sound very different than the tracks I originally intended to be on Relapse 2, but I still want the other stuff to be heard."

One of the most anticipated albums of the year, the platinum-selling Relapse entered the Billboard Top 200 album chart at No. 1 in May 2009 and sold more than 618,000 domestic copies in the U.S. in its first week. Relapse is also the top selling hip-hop album of 2009.

« Relapse is the perfect name for this Album »
I love Eminem.....he is funny smart witty, hurting, sad angry happy all at once. A little boy and man. Incredible brilliance. That said...this album sucks beyond belief. I am hoping that he gets over it, moves on and lives life better....will check out the next album, hoping he has returned to the living.

« Great CD »
Eminem gets better and better with each CD. Check out Recover. It might be his best yet!

« Em is a legend »
One of or THE best rapper(s) of all time, at least one of the best artists in the past 10 years.

A Few tracks stand out, but it's obvious this is NOT his best work.

Regardless, I will support him in everything he does, if you were to pick 1 CD not to buy of Em; this is it.

Good overall, but lacking his origanal awesomeness.

« Buy the album AGAIN so I can get 7 more songs??? »
My star rating has nothing to do with the quality of the music on this record. It is reflective of the fact that fans who already purchased Relapse were forced to purchase the same album again if they wanted the extra 7 songs. Eminem said that he released this record so that the fans didn't have to wait for his new stuff. So, why not make an EP available for those fans who already bought Relapse in May? How dedicated are the fans that waited until December to buy it??? I know you can buy the MP3s but I prefer to buy the disc. The fact of the matter is that this album was released not for the fans but for the $$$.

« Relapse: Terrible album »
This is Eminem's worst album to date. This is Dr. Dre's second worst album to date (first being 1996's Aftermath). I have no idea how it sold so well, must have been on Eminem's legendary name only. I was shocked how bad his new music was after his 5 year hiatus. I can't stand the Arabic/Indian accent he does on every track. Lyrically he kills it as usual, but the songs are just boring.

There were one or two good tracks on this album. I'm glad to hear he is back to just killin tracks like Forever, Drop The World, the Despicable Freestyle, and Not Afraid. <
I am a huge Eminem and Dr. Dre fan, but wow, this album is terrible. I was really shocked how bad it was.
