We listen to these hymns over & over. It's wonderful to listen to classic hymns with our young children and have them sing along! Most of these are really well done!

Love this CD. It's classic, but not slow. Can listen to it over and over and not grow tired of it. Nice background music to scrapbook by!

Definitely up there with my favorite CDs... nothing better than the combination of beautiful old hymns sung by contemporary artists. I also gave my mom this CD set for Christmas and she loves it as much as I do.

This is a wonderful collection of hymns - - just what I hoped it would be, and something any contemporary Christian music fan would enjoy.

« A Delightful Collection of Hymns »

When I was younger, I did not really care for hymns. I thought that they sounded slow and boring.

As I have gotten older, that has changed somewhat. I still prefer contemporary music, but have gained a solid appreciation for hymns. Most of them have more depth than many modern songs. There are several solid collections of modern versions of hymns now and this is a great addition to those.

This contains some really great sounding hymns by a wide variety of well known Christian music artists including the following: Barlowgirl, Third Day, Newsboys, Big Daddy Weave, Jeremy Camp, and many others.

I would definitely recommend this for anyone who is looking for a great album of hymns. I also recommend Hymns: Ancient And Modern by Passion Passion: Hymns Ancient and Modern and Redemption Songs by Jars of Clay Redemption Songs. Redemption Songs is certainly the most outstanding hymns collection that I have ever heard and I highly recommend it.
